This is a great opportunity to join our team and support our 1800+ affiliated golf clubs. Course rating is a core service that is provided to all golf clubs affiliated to England Golf. The course rating process determines the playing difficulty of a golf course for a scratch golfer (handicap index of 0.0) under normal playing conditions and weather. Course rating is a cornerstone of the World Handicap System (WHS).
You will support the course rating coordinator to make sure the relevant administration involved with course rating is completed accurately and within a set timescale. This includes data input, dealing with enquiries, support tickets and telephone calls.
We’re looking for someone with the following qualities:
- knowledge of managing data and/or customer service
- accuracy with a thorough approach
- good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise accordingly
- great communication skills
Full training will be provided on the systems used.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support for the Course Rating Program, to include data entry and analytics.
- Deal and respond to enquires, including incoming support tickets and telephone calls as appropriate and relevant to course rating.
- Process rating submissions within required timescales, accurately.
- Input and maintain specific databases.
- Assist, when required, with the wider WHS/iGolf support team.
- General office administration duties which may be required from time to time.
- Work to England Golf’s core values and behaviours and carry out the duties in accordance with England Golf’s policies and procedures.

The post is full-time, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The position is based at England Golf Headquarters, The National Golf Centre, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6PU. We provide a hybrid working arrangement following a successful probation period.
