Douglas Rugby Club are the foremost rugby club on the Isle of Man and have developed significantly in recent years. The first team play both locally and at level six in the North West leagues. Alongside 45-50 adult players we operate a lively mini and junior section of 130 members.

We are looking to recruit a Rugby Development Officer. This post would be full time with the key objective of growing rugby participation in the club and across all sections but with a particular focus on the Junior section, where the Rugby Development Officer will lead activities.

The work would involve working with and in local schools organising tournaments and being the face of Douglas Rugby Club in the education community.

The Post would suit an experienced player or coach perhaps with teaching experience.

Duties off the field include supporting the club administration and commercial activities as a senior member of
the management team.

The Rugby Development Officer will report to the Director of Rugby and Club Chairman.

The Post has a salary of 30-35K per annum worked on an annualised hours basis, based on a 40-hour week, to
include bank holidays and weekends.

Relocation expenses would be considered on an individual basis.

Twenty-eight days holiday including bank holidays.

The Post comes with the use of The Club car, currently provided by a sponsor.
