We are looking to fill a Commercial Partnership Manager position to contribute to the club’s ongoing success both on and off the field.
Reporting to our Head of Partnerships, you will manage premium relationships to ensure they flourish, and our commercial partners get maximum benefit from their partnership with us.
More specifically, we are looking for a Commercial Partnership Manager to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, and to build and preserve trusting relationships with our entire client base. We will rely on you to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain our company’s positive image.
You will be responsible for ensuring all existing partnerships are managed and maintained to an exceptional level, with a key focus on meeting partners objectives. You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing client management strategies, annual reviews, account planning, hosting at games and finding leverage opportunities for our partners.
You will actively seek out and engage new and existing customers. You will provide appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be an exceptional communicator. You will have experience managing large relationships and will be able to work with sales and marketing teams and build rapport with customers. We also expect a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. Working alongside a passionate, committed, and high-performing team, you will share our passion for the Crusaders, the wider community, and the game of rugby.
Ultimately you will maintain strong relationships with our company’s clients to boost our brand and meet and surpass business expectations, by contributing to the Crusaders and Matatu’s sustainable growth.
