Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Design and Content, a rare opportunity exists for a highly motivated Multimedia Content Producer to join our Brand, Marketing and Digital Team. This role is responsible for video and multimedia production as well as content delivery across the Club’s digital platforms.

The position provides the opportunity to own many elements of creative production, develop strong design theories, and ensure style, brand guidelines and visual identity are upheld.

In addition, there is a strong focus on compelling storytelling. Demonstrating proven skills in both the Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software will be crucial.

This role will work across all digital including the website, app and social channels to bring content to life across the organisation, working closely with Membership, Community, Commercial and Football. Therefore, an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, manage competing priorities and being able to deliver to agreed timeframes will be key to success.

Knowledge of the social media landscape will also be important to ensure content is produced in line with the Club’s overarching digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the production of video and multimedia to deliver creative executions.
  • Creating compelling, innovative, and engaging broadcast quality video content for the Club’s digital media platforms.
  • Pre -production of video content including scheduling talent, setting up equipment and knowledge of all technical requirements.
  • Post -production of all video including uploading video to NRL provided Video Management System.
  • Executing a consistent content plan for weekly segments, delivering video in a timely manner each week, both in and out of season.
  • Developing and delivering engaging content across all platforms on behalf of internal teams, football, commercial, membership, Leagues club and community to ensure overall business objectives are met in a timely manner.

Role Requirements

  • Qualifications in Multimedia Design and/or Production or similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in similar hands-on video production role.
  • Demonstrated strength in video editing skills.
  • Ability to produce content through Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of technical requirements and settings for HD Video Cameras, high-quality Digital SLR cameras and GoPro equipment.
  • Knowledge of lighting sounds and visual requirements for various settings and environments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and technology.
  • Strong understanding of digital and content production.
  • Experience working within a sporting or entertainment environment would be advantageous.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Drivers Licence

Desirable Criteria

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Current Provide/Perform CPR
