The Combined Counties League are looking for a person with excellent administration and organisational skills to take on the role of the League General Secretary.

The General Secretary will ensure that the competition runs smoothly and effectively taking a key role on daily matters.

The General Secretary will be the pivotal point for all communications & correspondence, both internal and external, to and from the competition. Communications are to be acknowledged immediately as required, and urgent matters brought to the attention of the Board.

The General Secretary will reply to any correspondence as directed by the Chairman or the Board and liaise with the Chairman on the Agenda for each meeting before it is circulated.

The General Secretary will distribute any relevant information to The Board and other appropriate people as required.

This is a volunteer role which requires daily involvement dealing with league correspondence, attendance and taking a key role at the league monthly management meeting, attendance at Board meetings as required, the collation of monthly reports from other officers, regular attendance at competition matches, attendance at FA & County FA meetings, hearings & conferences, attendance at any sub-committee meetings as assigned (normally via electronic conference) and management of the League Operation Timetable (annual calendar of activities).
