Clober Golf Club is a highly regarded members’ club located on the outskirts of Glasgow in the town of Milngavie.
The club has a strong membership including Gentlemen, Ladies and Junior sections, and is a popular venue for visiting golf societies.
The Club is looking for a Part-Time Secretary to work alongside our Treasurer to assist in the daily running of the club.
Responsibilities
Secretary – Responsible to Club Executive
- To Manage the club’s administration
- To Record full and accurate minutes of council meetings
- To carry out instructions given at council meetings
- Conduct the correspondence of the club
- Be responsible for the safe custody of club records
- To prepare and minute for Annual General Meeting
- To manage and maintain membership records
- To deal with member issues
- To manage membership enquiries
- Accurately maintain club software
- Liaise closely with club Treasurer re Subscriptions, Fees, and Dues
- To conduct any other reasonable instruction of the executive
Previous Experience of using club systems software preferrable but not essential.
The person will require effective people management skills and a good understanding of self-motivation and initiative, be outgoing, presentable and an excellent communicator.
Remuneration
