What We’re Looking For:

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for making a difference? Do you excel at measuring and evaluating outcomes to maximize social impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Chelsea FC Foundation as an Impact and Evaluation Officer.

PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):

  • Become Foundation Salesforce specialist, supporting delivery staff with setup, input and routine monitoring of data across all Foundation programmes.
  • Train all new Foundation delivery staff in how to use Salesforce, conducting regular staff check-ins and identifying where additional support is required.
  • Work closely with the Communications team to share stories of impact from across the Foundation, grounded in data and evidence.
  • Conduct qualitative (interviews and focus groups) and quantitative analysis on existing Foundation programmes, with a focus on learning, adapting and improving programmes.
  • Review existing staff members monitoring and evaluation training needs, identifying any potential knowledge gaps and CPD opportunities for all Foundation staff.
  • Support the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation responsibilities in accordance with the needs of each funder. Ensuring programmes are generating the outcome and social impact stated within the funding applications.

PROUD TO BE CHELSEA (Person Specification):

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (Impact Measurement, Monitoring and Evaluation, Insight, Research or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation systems, such as Salesforce or similar.
  • Familiarity with drafting, conducting and analysing surveys, using online survey software.
  • Experience of working within a Charity (an advantage, not a requirement).

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy coupled with strong IT literacy (intermediate Excel user).
  • The ability to gather both quantitative and qualitative data and analyse and interpret it and communicate conclusions and recommendations in a clear and compelling way.
  • Assertive, self-starter who works effectively and efficiently whilst demonstrating resilience and responsiveness to issues in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent team working skills which embody proactivity, enthusiasm and a hands-on approach.
  • Experience of working with sensitive, confidential and personal data.
  • Passionate about the positive impact that sport, and professional sports clubs in particular, can have on their local communities.
  • Familiarity with the sports charity sector is a plus.
