Job Summary:

Based within the media department, the successful candidate will work alongside the content team and media staff to produce high quality video content for both the club’s video platform, clarets+, and social channels. They will also be required to work closely with the club’s marketing and commercial departments to produce promotional content.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Work on a variety of projects, covering men’s, women’s and academy teams.
  • Produce a range of engaging video content for Clarets+ and the club’s social media channels.
  • Develop ideas from initial concepts right through to the publishing stage.
  • Help to drive the club’s content strategy forward with fresh, innovative and ambitious ideas.
  • Maintain and make use of the club’s large video archive.

Camera Operation

  • Take on a range of shooting responsibilities, including interviews, matches and behind the scenes.
  • Ensure high quality footage is captured at all times.
  • Have the ability to ‘read the room’ when capturing behind the scenes.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly maintained and cared for.

Live Production

  • Work within the content team to produce live events such as press conferences and live shows.
  • Write running orders and produce supporting video tapes.
  • Work alongside team members, presenters and talent to ensure a smooth, high-quality production.

Supporting Club Departments

  • Produce content that supports various departments within the club.
  • Liaise with departments to ensure efficient execution of requested jobs.
