Burnham Beeches is a traditional Members Club but also offers a warm welcome to visitors looking to enjoy golf at its best on and off the course.
A person in the above role is required to head up everything ‘golf’ at Burnham Beeches Golf Club in south Buckinghamshire. The role is to manage and co-ordinate the following aspects of the club:
The role is interesting and varied, with no two days the same. BBGC (www.bbgc.co.uk) is a private members’ club with a long tradition spanning over 130 years. This position is ideal for an aspiring Club Manager wishing to advance their career in the golf industry and to gain valuable experience at one of Buckinghamshire’s premier clubs. The right candidate will have to demonstrate an ability using standard administration software as well as specific golf software, preferably Club V1 but not essential.
In addition to working within the office of BBGC they will attend regular management meetings and will gain invaluable experience in all aspects of running a Club, assisting other Heads of Department and supporting their teams. The role will be a ‘front of house’ facing with a prime focus on members, their guests and the visitors to the club, ensuring their day is a memorable one. It is therefore, important that the candidate has a good personality and is comfortable dealing with people. Additionally, they must show the attitude to deliver high quality customer service that the club has built its reputation on, as well as always being willing to go that extra mile.

Standard workdays will be weekdays from 9.00am until 5.00pm with some weekend work for major events. There will also be the need to attend occasional evening meetings, so some flexitime working will be required.
