British Rowing, as the governing body for the sport, is responsible for the development of rowing in England and the training and selection of rowers to represent Great Britain
A bit about the role
This role will incorporate the upkeep of the building and grounds including the lake itself. Although the successful applicant may not currently possess all of the required skills they will be practical and hands-on individuals with a willingness to learn and strong pride in their work.
This role will suit someone who is willing to be flexible with their hours, arriving early to open the site, or starting later to facilitate closing the site (around 6pm) as required.
A bit about you
You’ll be a person with a can-do attitude who takes pride in your work. You are also able to work independently to a high degree, but also do well as part of a team. It would also be great if you have a RYA Level 2, Trailer Driving License and experience of tractor driving and hedge trimming, but this is not essential.

Our passion is rowing. We are the governing body for rowing, responsible for supporting grassroots rowing in England and getting the GB Rowing Team ready for the Olympics, Paralympics, and other international competitions.
We are a membership organisation with over 30,000 individual members and we are looking to support over 550 affiliated clubs and 230 affiliated events. We cover all types of rowing whether it’s on the river or lake, on the sea or in the gym (on a rowing machine) and so a key aim is provide high quality service to all parts of the rowing community.
