British Canoeing, formerly known as the British Canoe Union is a national governing body for canoeing in the United Kingdom.
The Role
The Slalom Pathway Coach is a hugely exciting position that offers the opportunity of large scale, positive and formative impact upon the development of young people whilst contributing to the creation of a competitive Canoe Slalom pathway and club network.
We are seeking a Slalom Pathway Coach to work as an integral part of Holme Pierrepont Canoe Club (HPPCC), consistently feeding young people into the Canoe Slalom pathway each year, supporting Slalom School Programme provision, delivering competition events and coach development opportunities for the benefit of the club but also wider Canoe Slalom community.
We are looking for an individual who is a team player but also has the ability to work on their own initiative. You should have a “can do” attitude that inspires and motivates others and be an excellent communicator who is able to adapt messaging to the audience.
