The Role

  • We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who will support the organisation in the development of marketing activity and plans to grow reach, engagement and income across identified key products and services.

In this exciting role, your key focus will be leading the management of our membership marketing growth strategy.

  • Working with colleagues across the business you will increase knowledge on customer insight and engagement, identify target audiences and track the effectiveness of campaigns and services to further improve business effectiveness.
  • With this in mind, an ability to cultivate relationships with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders is essential.
  • As well as having experience in a similar role at a senior level, you will also need to demonstrate strong people management skills as you will be leading a small team which includes our Digital Marketing and Communications Officer and our Content and Campaigns Officer.
  • This role is based at the British Canoeing offices at National Water Sports Centre in the Holme Pierrepont Country Park.
  • We are currently exploring how hybrid working can benefit the organisation so we would expect a minimum of 2 days in the office with flexibility around days being essential.
