Media Content Coordinator

About the role

The Media Content Coordinator is accountable for the production of quality digital content to enhance and promote the Brisbane Broncos brand, as well as assisting to service media content requests from media outlets and broadcasters. Working with all Brisbane Broncos departments, the role is primarily accountable for engaging key internal and external stakeholders, including media, sponsors, football and game departments, to develop and deliver quality content for the Brisbane Broncos brand.

Key deliverables of the role include:

• Production and editing of digital content across all aspects of the Football experience (including training sessions, player interviews, player messages, game day, sponsor events). Video production skills are essential, as well as a sound writing base.
• Liaison with external media and broadcasters to provide content and media opportunities to promote the Brisbane Broncos, including travelling with the team.
• Development and implementation of content and concepts across all digital platforms.
• Management of content to website CMS and social media channels, proactively managing platforms to further enhance the Brisbane Broncos brand.

Key Criteria

To be considered for the role, candidates must address the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in video / film.
• Internship experience within a media organisation.
• Experience in video production.
• Ability to satisfy compliance with Queensland Working with Children requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work autonomously, take ownership of the role and have a team-oriented approach. Critical will be your ability to motivate others towards achieving goals and a strong sense of respect for confidentiality.
