The Brisbane Broncos are seeking a Head of Property & Infrastructure on a 12 month fixed-term contract, to lead the Club’s long-term infrastructure, facilities and capital investment agenda.
How you can play a part
This role will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development and delivery of the Club’s property, infrastructure and facilities portfolio, with a clear focus on long-term growth, operational excellence, capital project delivery and strategic investment. This will include:
- Developing and delivering a long-term property, infrastructure and facilities strategy aligned to the Club’s strategic objectives.
- Leading planning and delivery of the Red Hill Precinct Development and future master planning initiatives.
- Overseeing capital works, lifecycle planning, procurement and project governance across Club facilities. Developing feasibility studies, business cases and investment assessments for infrastructure and property-related opportunities.
- Leading stadia infrastructure advocacy and engagement with government, councils, venue authorities and industry stakeholders.
- Identifying and assessing facilities-related commercial opportunities, including potential non-core business and strategic investment opportunities.
- Managing consultant, contractor, supplier and project partner relationships to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Providing strategic advice, reporting and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board on infrastructure priorities, risks and opportunities.
To be considered
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- Senior leadership experience in property, infrastructure, facilities, construction, capital projects or strategic development environments.
- Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure projects, capital works or property development initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience developing business cases, capital budgets, investment models and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated understanding of procurement, contract management, project governance, asset management and risk management.
- Experience engaging with government stakeholders, planning authorities, funding bodies, consultants, contractors and external partners.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
- The ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, high-profile and values-led environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting capability, including the ability to provide clear recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums.
- A proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative leadership style.
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Infrastructure, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Experience within elite sport, entertainment, major venues, precinct development, high-performance environments or complex public/private infrastructure settings will also be highly regarded.
