About the role
This fixed term role plays a crucial part within our business to help us drive new revenue streams. You will be experienced in B2B selling within SME’s and pride yourself on your hunter and gathering abilities to essentially create leads, develop value-add offerings and convert these into partnership relationships.

You will be responsible for developing a partnership pipeline, identifying new opportunities and tailoring an attractive proposition with the goal to gain new partnerships. Your ability to adapt your communication style, build rapport quickly and maintain meaningful relationships will be key to your success.

Working in a fast-paced environment comes naturally to you, there is no time to rest on our laurels! You are driven and motivated to succeed and are excited by the products and value propositions we have on offer.

Like most sales development roles – cold calling is part of the gig; you aren’t afraid to pick up the phone, knock on doors to hunt for new opportunities. Any knock-backs will not keep you from pushing on, as resilience is one of your strengths.

This role has a high level of autonomy so your planning and organisational skills are second to none.

This isn’t your typical Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm role; given we are a sports organisation, weekend work should be expected; especially with hosting and hospitality responsibilities.

  • Tertiary degree preferable in Commerce, Business or Marketing
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to close
  • High level of problem solving and analytical skills
