THE ROLE
A strategic, senior management role, taking responsibility for the account management of Official Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers.
Ascot has a hierarchy of brands that are Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers of the business. This role is to service the needs of these brands through the effective delivery of their contractual assets on a race day and beyond. This will involve working closely with various departments within the business to achieve seamless delivery.
Best in class client servicing and innovative activation ideas are needed to ensure the retention and potential uplift of the Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers. The role will be instrumental in helping set KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) for each client to ensure we are delivering on their (and our) objectives each year.
As well as the day-to-day management of sponsorship assets, this role will be instrumental in devising new and exciting assets to allow partners to activate alongside the Ascot brand and will have the responsibility of finding new technologies and services to allow Ascot to manage the brands effectively.
The role has management responsibility of a Partnerships Manager. It is important that this role act as an effective leader to encourage and train effectively to ensure they deliver best in class serving for our Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers. It is also important that all team members of staff are aware of new industry innovations as well as an in-depth knowledge of the brands we work with.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Partnerships in driving improvement of the products and services provided to partners and to support in the delivery of the department’s strategy. They will be required to build strong relationships with Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers as well as internal departments to ensure efficient and effective lines of communication.
The role itself is mainly office based, with raceday work a key part of the job, some of which fall on weekends. The raceday role involves liaising with high level personnel from Ascot and key Official Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers and delivering their assets and rights on site.
