We have an excellent opportunity to join Alpine F1 Team as a Vehicle Performance Engineer.
Vehicle Performance Engineer – The role
Working within our Vehicle Performance Group, you will be responsible for generating quantitative performance insights to guide the design, development, and optimisation of current and future race cars.
Using and developing our performance software tools, you will also be responsible for the correlation of vehicle models, maintenance of our simulation database and supporting trackside operations with timely and accurate performance analysis.
Vehicle Performance Engineer – The person
We are looking for individuals with strong problem-solving skills and an appetite for developing new methodologies with an innovation mindset. A first-class degree in a relevant engineering or STEM discipline, ideally with professional experience within motorsport and strong demonstrable understanding of vehicle dynamics.
Experience in the use of Matlab/Simulink is essential, with familiarity with MAT software (Atlas & System Monitor) and/or Python an advantage.
