We have a new position within our team as a Senior Tyre Performance Engineer. This position will be within our Performance Systems Group based in Enstone making a significant contribution to our performance.
Senior Tyre Performance Engineer – The Role
You will be responsible for evaluating and optimising tyre utilisation during track tests and race events to ensure maximum overall car performance. You will develop, parameterise and validate the teams’ tyre models contributing to the design and operation of the race cars, ensuring that they accurately reflect real world performance of tyres.
Senior Tyre Performance Engineer – The Person
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in a high-level motorsport or the tyre industry, and with significant trackside experience in high level motorsport. Tyre modelling experience is essential, and experience in the development of tyre thermo-mechanical models, physical models or tyre FE models would be a distinct advantage. Vitally, we are looking for an individual who is driven and motivated by the pursuit of performance, and increasing the teams’ understanding of tyres.
