With the continued investment in our IT group at Alpine F1 Team, we have a new position to join the team as a Network Infrastructure Engineer.
Network Infrastructure Engineer – The Role
Within this role, you will be the authority on all networking technologies, including core routing and switching as well as perimeter networking such as VPN, MPLS and firewalls being the escalation support for all network infrastructure. You will lead the discovery and implementation of new networking technologies, designing with a zero-trust architecture providing administration and maintenance of the network infrastructure, proactively planning software and firmware upgrades. You will providing mentoring and informal training to members of the Service Desk to develop networking knowledge within the team.
Network Infrastructure Engineer – The Person
We are looking for an individual with in-depth skills in network service monitoring and troubleshooting, Certification on Dell, Cisco or Juniper. (Min CCNP Level). Strong recent experience in Dell Networking, SonicWall, Aerohive (Dell S,N and Z series, SonicWall Firewalls, Aerohive NG Cloud, Microsoft VPN) beneficial. Several years’ experience in network administration, protocols, troubleshooting, switching and routing, datacentres would be ideal.
